It’s not about the beginning
That you were born facing it
With no decision;
It’s about how you devote
Everything in your life
To create the end
You’ve always dreamt of.
If you never draw the curtains aside
There will not be any arrow
To show you when you should start.
And if you seek love in ruins
You will find nothing
But the spectrum of your broken heart.
Blame missing the daily new chances
They are already wandering outside.
I was always wondering
How could eyes with gleam
Turn all of a sudden to stone-blind?
But as I saw some people
Trying to put out their inflaming fire inside
And wait for others hands,
Always asking for a guide;
I became sure that
The man is the only one who can decide,
Whether find a way to get answers
For how and why,
Or give up all gifts of meditation
And turns deadly stone-blind.
The first page between your hands
And you are afraid to decide,
Turn it over unfinished,
Or stay on, hold a pencil and write?
The story of standing still
Like an old gray straw,
The story of your dull life
With no tinge of happiness or hue
Of sweet madness.
The book of your lifetime,
After all these years, appears blank
And at page one you are still standing,
How to start with a stunning sentence
And beat the others.
But the sentence never comes
And you stand still,
Without turning the page over
Nor fill it
With the boring story of yours.
The same smell
The same faint light
The same stillness
The same far delight.
I can feel failure everywhere
Trying to grab me to nowhere, I know its signs
For I lived through it before,
And don’t want to taste its bitterness anymore.
Black curtains, blackness my sight
Shadowing any hope,
Radiating bad memories, finishing me off from inside
That never stops.
I try to escape,
Running here and there,
Shouting and screaming,
To break such nightmare.
For over my sight,
I can see something waving from a distance,
It is not clear, trying to hide
But still I can barely glance.
It is my dream like a mirage
Flying far away,
I run so fast to catch
By all my strength and energy.
Screaming with all my force;
“Please don’t leave me,
Come here, I am not the same person,
Who used to fear,
I am not that defeated one,
I experienced being lost,
And from now I will try on
Don’t leave me alone like a nut
I promise, I will follow you till the end.”
